Description
The HAT RACK 90 is a special variant of our HAT RACK board which rotates the GPIO pinout 90 degrees. This solves the problem with connectors or wires fouling on some Raspberry Pi add-on boards. Its reversible design can rotate a single HAT 90 degrees anti-clockwise or clockwise with the connectors installed on side A or side B respectively.
The right-angle headers and sockets allow multiple boards to be daisy chained together to create an array of connected HATs. BCM pin numbering on both sides allows for easy identification and it can be mounted to a DIN rail using standard DIN rail adapters.
A 6mm spacer can be used over the board-to-board connector to provide additional support for your HAT when used in-conjunction with our 11mm Mounting Spacer Kit or 11mm Stacking Standoff.

Connecting multiple HATs from different manufacturers can introduce pin conflicts which prevent your boards from working correctly. This usually only happens with HATs which are not designed to stack.
