Description
The DINPi V2 is a refined version of our original DINPi board. We’ve overhauled the design to make it easier to use. Just like its predecessor, the DINPi V2 is designed to mount a Raspberry Pi or any other pin-compatible SBC (single board computer) onto a DIN rail, using standard DIN rail adapters.
A right-angle header provides a complete breakout for your project with BCM pin numbering printed directly onto the board. It integrates perfectly with our existing HAT RACK boards to create an array of connected HATs.
Manufactured from high quality 1.6mm FR-4 glass fibre material, with a gorgeous satin black finish.

External Powering
The DINPi range of carrier boards can easily be externally powered if required. Some of our HAT RACK boards provide this capability via an auxiliary connector, as do many HATs and Pi accessories.
Alternatively you can simply connect a 5V source to the 5V pin and any ground pin (−) as you would normally. Be sure to use a properly regulated 5V supply to avoid damaging your Pi.
