Description

The DINPi 90 is a special variant of our DINPi V2 board which rotates the Raspberry Pi 90 degrees. This helps to better align the I/O ports, while maintaining compatibility with our HAT RACK boards.

Designed to mount a Raspberry Pi or any other pin-compatible SBC (single board computer) onto a DIN rail, using standard DIN rail adapters. A right-angle header provides a complete breakout for your project with BCM pin numbering printed directly onto the board.

Manufactured from high quality 1.6mm FR-4 glass fibre material, with a gorgeous satin black finish.

Features

  • DIN rail mountable
  • BCM pin numbering
  • Gold flash plated connectors
  • Works with all pin-compatible SBCs
  • Compatible with our HAT RACK boards

External Powering

The DINPi range of carrier boards can easily be externally powered if required. Some of our HAT RACK boards provide this capability via an auxiliary connector, as do many HATs and Pi accessories.

Alternatively you can simply connect a 5V source to the 5V pin and any ground pin (−) as you would normally. Be sure to use a properly regulated 5V supply to avoid damaging your Pi.

Device Compatibility

The DINPi 90 is fully compatible with all 40-way Raspberry Pi models and clones.
