Here’s something a little different. This garden had recently been landscaped, but the wooden pergola had been put-together with undersized and untreated timber, which warped after just a few weeks. We replaced the warped timber with much larger pressure treated & graded timber more suited to its purpose. We also braced each corner with matching timber and re-enforced the original posts with stainless steel bolts.
The finished pergola provides a beautiful and functional garden focal point and seating area, suitable for climbing plants such as ivy and strong enough to support heavy hanging baskets.
